Hi Larry,

We just got back from the Kongakut. This is a low water year for sure. We floated the whole length. The river was a thread of liquid glass, and the entire last day I was thinking what a bogus year it would have been to be in a raft. We had two SOARs to run the upper section with one raft accompanying us. Then we switched over to all SOARs when we reached Caribou Pass. They were awesome in the shallows and winds of the lower river.

We had a couple stormy days before the canyon so the canoers had fairly big wave trains to ride thru there - the bow guys got good n wet!

I ended up selling my only A*** to someone on that trip so I'll be calling you for another 16' someday. Here are a couple delta shots you might like
