In early October, BB & I were joined by our friends Debbie and Paul for a 6 day trip on Utah's San Juan river. The water level was low, and a few clouds were in the forecast, but everything seemed right for a wonderful trip. The San Juan is a classic canyon river trip w/ Government Rapid as the only Class III rapid on the river. Below are a couple of shots of our run through that rapid, but we had an amazing rain storm on our last day, and soon, waterfalls began cascading and roaring over the canyon walls. It was truly one of the most spectacular spontaneous events that any of us had ever witnessed. It was awe inspiring.
