By December 2004, my wife and I decided to take
some time off and drive to Baja Mexico with a couple of friends. We took 2 S16s
with us, a prototype of the new motor mount, lashing bars and a couple of small
outboard motors.
I am not a huge 'motorhead', and prefer to spend my days
paddling instead of hearing the noise of a motor, but it didn't take long for
me to get into it. In these photos you'll see us hanging out on the water
during a sunrise, putting the lashing bars together, and hanging out on the
water.
Once again SOAR's versatilities shined. We were using a boat
that recently had been paddled in whitewater, and now we were motoring through
big swells, fishing and snorkeling from this fun, fine craft.
