Costa Rica is world renowned for its pristine whitewater rivers and breathtaking flat-water wildlife paddling. Abundant rainfall, warm water, and a wide variety of rivers and eco-systems are what make Costa Rica's rainforest a paradise for paddlers. SOAR has created a great paddling and hiking adventure that features the best of Costa Rica's rainforests, national parks and beaches. Co-led by Costa Rican nauralist guides this 11-14 day itinerary visits remote locales that are known for their exquisite flora and fauna. Our small group will travel through the countryside in a spacious luxury bus, spending 10-13 nights in unique rainforest lodges and country inns.

Itinerary at-a-Glance: Day 1 - San Jose, transfer to Caribbean lowlands Day 2 - Puerto Viejo River (Class I) Day 3 - Hike La Selva Biological Preserve. Sarapiqui River (a couple of Class III's then Class I-II) Day 4 - A river in the Arenal region (Class I-II), Hot Springs, Arenal Volcano Day 5 - Rio Celeste (hike) Day 6 - Rio Tenorio and Rio Corobici (Class I-II), Las Pumas Rescue Center Day 7 - La Pura Vida! Day 8 - Tarcoles, Carara Biological Preserve - (hike). Airfare, alcoholic beverages, departure tax, laundry, tips for guides, incidentals, or any costs associated with days before or after itinerary.

Payment / Cancellation Policy:
A $500.00 deposit shall be paid at the time of the reservation. Balance to be paid 30 days prior to departure. Any cancellation more than 30 days prior to departure will receive a full refund. Cancellations more than 15 days prior to departure will receive a 50% refund of amount paid. Cancellations less than 15 days prior to departure will not receive any refunds.
